We finally had a day of good weather, when I was able to get out of the house. I had errands to run, but I made a point of stopping at a park where quite a few birds frequent. When I arrived, there were 2 other people there with their cameras, but they were busy talking…I guess they had already taken their photos of the birds.
I walked around the pond, being as discreet as possible avoiding any eye contact with the birds so they wouldn’t (a) fly away or (b) slink off into the water. It worked with a couple of Canadian Geese, but not so much with the smaller birds.
I was about to leave as the other 2 photographers were still talking. I was sitting in the car and took a couple of photos of the trees to my left. I noticed two things after taking those photos…they had left and some of the birds were now close by. I got down in the grass and shot off some more photos
