Well, I had to say goodbye to my flowers that I got at Trader Joe’s a couple of weeks ago. But before they get tossed, I decided to “play” a bit. I was doing some double exposures, some regular photos and going between the 105mm lens and the 50mm macro lens (both with the 36mm extension tube). Today’s photo is a double exposure of a ranunculus with a blurred shot of (colorful) flowers. I adjusted the black and white points and added an Orton effect. The dried edges of the petals remind me of lips, in fact on the left hand side, on a diagonal, are a pair of lips…at least that’s what they look like to me.
