As of a month ago I thought for sure my amaryllis plant had bit the dust; thanks to my mom picking off all the dead leaves and stuff, and me watering it, it has come back with a vengeance! It grew well over an inch overnight, and this morning its starting to peak out and I’m guessing will fully open within the week. Today I decided to try using the kit lens with extension tubes to take macro photos, the only thing I noticed is that it is way too sharp…compared to the vintage manual focus lens that I usually use. So I used Luminar 3 to give it an orton effect and soft focus so it wasn’t “in your face” sharp.
