I always thought that the pink flowered plant I had in the front yard was a begonia, come to find out its actually a geranium…who knew? (my mom!) I think it was a volunteer, but it is amazing how this thing is growing and getting bigger and bigger, taking up a pretty good chunk of space in the corner of 2 sidewalks. When I went outside to take pictures this morning, my intention was to take photos of some white roses with dark pink markings. (I didn’t like the way they came out because of the sun shining on parts of the petals.) Since I was short on time I didn’t take some “shade” with me to keep the sun off the rose(s), but before I went inside I got some photos of the geranium buds that weren’t in the sun. I decided to play around in Topaz Studio with the jpg version of the photo to get this look.
