As happy and excited I was when seeing all the buds on the fortnight lily getting ready to bloom, I was equally sad seeing them close to death…especially when there’s 40+ dying at the same time.
On a happy note, I had success with my sensor cleaning kit last night. First, I held the camera upside down and used an air blower to try and get rid of any fine particles. Then I used one of the cleaning swabs with 3 drops of sensor cleaning fluid, went from left to right on one side of the swab flipped the swab over then went from right to left. Whatever had been on the sensor was now gone. I was so happy! It was nice to be able to take pictures without the black blob that had been showing up on my photos the previous 2 days.

I’ve been putting off cleaning my sensor and the shop wants $60! Might as well learn to do it myself right?

It was super easy. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube before ordering the kit, and the kit came with good directions. I think the trick is to not press the swab down with heavy pressure…use a light touch.
