Recently I was watching a YouTube video by Elaine Giles on Pixelmator Photo. I’ve had the app for several months now, but haven’t played around with it much…mostly because there isn’t an option to use a photo from your camera roll/the photo app (at least that I’ve seen). I was noticing the left hand side of her iPad was listing all the sources that she could import a file from, I noticed an icon and text that I didn’t recognize; it was an “FB” in a folder and to the right it said “FileBrowser Biz”. Well, curious cat me had to stop the video and go look it up! I’m so glad that I did; I didn’t need the Biz version, but I did purchase the Document Manager version for $5.99 (and I’m glad that I did). Once I got it to recognize my 2015 MacBook Pro, I was able to view a list of documents/folders/photos – it got even better! I was able to browse my external hard drive of photos from my iPad Pro!! I was able to use Pixelmator Photo and process a Fuji RAW file in another room of the house (away from my laptop and external hard drive).
I liked this photo of a tulip leaf in color, but I processed it in Pixelmator Photo to be black and white with a grain – and I liked it even more.
