Change is in the air, both in my photography and in my domain name. Hopefully I can transfer over the site to the new domain without being down for a day or more. As for my photography, today I received the first of three new pieces of equipment. I might reveal more on Friday when I should receive the second piece, followed by next Tuesday when I should receive the third and final piece.

As for today’s moody photo, it is of a foxtail with some other weeds in the background. I got on my hands and knees for this shot. Processed the RAW photo in Capture One, then took it into Affinity Photo where I added one of my texture backgrounds and then a “text” brush with a mode of soft light and an opacity around 50%.

    1. I’ve already paid for the new domain name, now I need to get in touch with my host and find out the quickest/easiest/least painful way of switching the site over.

    1. Is WordPress your host, or are you using another provider? I was thinking of asking you since I knew you had changed your domain name recently. I’m not using WordPress as my host.

      1. I am using WordPress but I registered the name with Google and had to make some DNS changes, but Google and WordPress both have great chat support.
