…and, they’re coming to take me away ha-haaa
They’re coming to take me away ho-ho hee-hee ha-haaa
To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time…

They’re Coming to Take Me Away by Napoleon XIV
(1966)

The above song lyrics came to mind when I saw the menacing face in the fortnight lily. Usually I see the more loving side of flowers, but this time, as I was looking for a different angle, I saw the eyes peering out from under the purple brows. The more I look at the photo, the more I see a whole figure…yellowish gold arms and hands holding up the white outfit with brown shoes peeking out from under the part s/he can’t pick up. I sure love my imagination!
