I was surprised and delighted to see a whole new batch of fortnight lilies in various stages of “birth” this morning. I’m glad that I thought to take my camera outside with me, even though I was supposed to be playing ball with the boy (actually it felt too warm already to even think about playing ball), but he did catch a couple of balls before heading back into the house. I took various angles on different lilies, some backlit, some side lighting. I was also taking different angles on the pink ginger as there is a new birth that is growing by leaps and bounds every day! I was soaking wet by the time I went back in the house and it wasn’t even 10:00 yet!! UGH!!!
