I was out in the backyard playing with my Fuji X-T3, the kit lens and a 16mm extension tube. Two fortnight lilies were opening up, as was the amaryllis; there were also some trumpet vine flowers along the back wall. After taking some photos of those flowers I noticed the mimosa tree was sprouting its new growth. As I was taking pictures of the different young sprouts I was looking through the viewfinder at today’s growth and noticed an ant walking upside down…click. Gotcha!!

Thank you, Teri. I had seen it walking around the new growth and I just waited for it to get into position. 🙂Reply
