One of my neighbors was showing me her Crape Myrtle trees in the backyard (because I didn’t know what kind of tree they were), but before we got there my eyes caught the pretty wisteria and another bush below with beautiful coral and yellow flowers. I found out that they are called Canna Lilies; I found one that had detached from the bush and was laying on a leaf. I picked it up and brought it home to photograph. I’m glad that I found it already detached as I would rather cut off a finger than to cut off a flower for the sole purpose of bringing it inside to photograph.
