Singing in the Rain
Projects

Day 293 of 365

Thought I’d try something different with my photography; it started when I used a small spray bottle to wet down spider webs. Then I thought I’d try it with a flower. I held my camera in my right hand, put the camera in continuous shooting mode, and used my left hand to spray water while trying to capture the water. This one was the best out of my attempts.

I had a busy day yesterday and didn’t have time to post process the RAW file, since all of my devices turn to a warm color at sundown I couldn’t count on the look when I got on my tablet. This morning I was able to check the look created in RNI Films last night, then I used Topaz Studio to create the final look you see below.

For some reason I don’t like using a tripod when I’m taking pictures of flowers, that’s why I didn’t use it for this shot; although…I might use it next time and do a multiple exposure – spraying from the left side, then the right. Maybe even using 2 different spray bottles.
