They say it’s not a good idea to shoot in the middle of the day, but sometimes you can get some interesting looks. I loved the thorns and their shadows on one of our cacti. Since it had somewhat of a symmetrical look, I placed it (almost) in the center of the photo.

    Very cool. Even close-up the thorns look very spikey and hard and yet their shadow look soft and folded. Very cool how you took the photo so the shadow of the out of focus thorns are reaching for the in-focus thorns
